No Resolutions. Just wanna be better at things

JUST GET BETTER AT THINGS!

A Resolution (to me) means to resolve things, get rid of things,

I feel I'm a pretty good person. I don't break the law, (accept speeding) and I'm not out to get anyone. I can't even begin to think that way. I feel I look for the good in all people. Because there is allot of good in people. All PEOPLE. I'm very optimistic Everyone has a good streak in them. So NO, I don't resolve anything.

However, I do want to become better at things. Those things are.

1. To be a better Mother/Wife/ Sister/ Daughter/Friend.. How? does one do this anyway?

2. To draw closer to my Father in Heaven... How? Read, pray, ponder

3. To find Joy in everyday living.. How? hmmm.. let me think on this. I guess I can say I love laundry, dishes, scrubbing toilets. Heck no. I just want to play that brings me joy... Playing with my kids..

4. To try and find after work energy to exercise with my daughters. how? I can sit in the wagon and they can pull me..

5. Finish decorating the upstairs and the girls rooms... How? hire someone( yeah right not with being married to Mr Handyman and I can do it...)

6. Help Ashlee and Emalee with their 10 hour projects for their Personal Progress (church program).. How? We have planned some fun things? I'm soooo reliving my youth with this..

Now, I just need to figure out how to get going with this. I may have to add it to my next years list.. Ohhhh, wait, some of this is on the list from last year... shoooot... well. Then I resolve to stop resolving.. It doesn't work for me... he he ha ha

what are you going to Resolve. oooopppps . I mean get better at? Cause your already good?

GET READY .... SAVE YOUR MONEY!
SCRAPBOOKES AND CRAFTERS

CKC-MesaApril 16-18, 2009Mesa Convention Center. Although I dont have the time to scrapbook as much anymore and have tried to convert over to digital books and new found hardbound books. I have found that I can get alot more journaling in digital scrapbooks rather than all the little embellishments that go on a page. I love to see my girls reading about the memory. Besides, there is so much digital software out on the market now. I can't begin to tell you how much I love it. Anway, I still enjoy looking at new stuff and going to places like CKU to learn about new techniques. I still love to create and make thank you cards , stationary, home decor, and gifts with paper. Going to CKU Creative Keepsakes Convention will be fun.
This is taking place in April. So, again the list is growing. If you want to go all are welcome the more the better. Nobody is excluded. Check out the website as you will need to register for classes.

It's a New Year! What's it going to be?

On New Years Eve 2009 we celebrated at our home. I believe there was more kids than adults at the house. It was a bit crazy. The kids had so much energy I think they all just fed off each other that energy it was wild. They had tons of fun. We also had this HUGE block party going on down the street. They had a huge fire pit and loud music. I made a few trips down the street to be neighborly but needed to get back to the troops at home. We played games and sang karaoke and just hung out and laughed. Once 12:00 came we went outside with noise makers and screams.. Mike and I ended the year with a hug and a kiss and put another tally in the books for another year together. We counted that this one makes 28 years just knowing each other and 20 years being married. UNBELIEVABLE.. It's more than half my age. WOW, It must have been meant to be. I love him more now than ever before. When you have that kind of love you learn to keep on loving, keep on plugging away even when he HOGS the DVR with his stupid shows that he watches.. Ok, anyway, It was a nice and crazy night.
